There was a gloomy, nearly sinister mood to this show, from the flickering, fluorescent light installation that opened the show, to the austere silhouettes and smudged colors.
Models filed out in kimono-like, black and gray jackets with belts that tied with D-rings, while others wore slash-neck tunics with dangling straps that evoked straight jackets. Roach paired many of the looks with dressy tailored trousers in black or shiny silver that, along with leather slippers, were a jarring contrast to the functional-looking jackets and tops.
