Inspired by worldly, sophisticated women, Chiara Boni named her fall collection, “Grand Hotel.” She explained that it is meant for the woman who is an “international globetrotter and a guest of the most prestigious hotels in the world and travels the globe in style.” She showed looks that would be at home anywhere in the world; for going out, that meant zippered, ruffled body-con dresses, some with patent leather accents to accentuate the body’s curves, or a quilted stretch velvet jacket and second skin leggings. For the gala, there were black maxidresses featuring metallic details on the sleeves or hips. Boni’s lineup targeted women who doesn’t want to sacrifice luxury to look feminine and sexy.
