The life of Peggy Guggenheim, from her youth in New York and travels across Europe to the opening of her art galleries and her move to Venice, served as the main inspiration for the Whit fall collection.
The lineup, which focused on easy-to-wear clothes with clean lines and feminine details, included a range of prints. These ranged from graphic Twenties dots on pajamalike silk shirts and belted dresses to a bolder abstract pattern splashed on a cashmere cardigan and an A-line frock. Creative director Whitney Pozgay also teamed up with an artist who painted the romantic roses used on a sheer top matched with a fluid skirt.
