The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel girl took on a more dynamic, eclectic vibe this season. Using the Bloom Twins — “dark pop” music duo and sisters Anna and Sonia Kuprienko — as muses for a second time, the design team gave the label’s girly aesthetic a dose of sporty, modern cool. Color-blocked tweed jackets and ruffled bib dresses channeled a classically feminine spirit, while rhinestone-embellished denim and utilitarian outerwear — an update on a nylon bomber jacket with oversize cargo pockets — toughened things up. Colorful heart, stripes, leopard and daisy prints added a playful punch to the looks.
