Blue Les Copains continued to explore Sixties and Seventies influences for fall, employing the classic tension of masculine and feminine with romantic overtones. Bernardo Bertolucci’s film “The Dreamers” served as an abstract reference for the Bologna-based design team. A few looks, such as retro tie-neck blouses and dresses in macramé lace or floral-printed silk chiffon, resembled the sort of things Eva Green’s temptress of a character Isabelle might have worn. The softer looks were toughened up with boyish suiting in powder blue, brick red and black velvet, plus leather biker jackets and oversize coats in wool plaid and faux shearling.
