Geometric experiments with squares by Superstudio, the pioneering Italian group of radical architecture and design from the Sixties and the Seventies, served as inspiration for Arthur Arbesser’s youthful, spirited collection for Iceberg.
Multicolor squares were printed on an array of pieces, from a knitted ribbed dress to a plissé silver skirt paired with a Lurex lightweight sweater and a patent leather trench in bright green. The shape also appeared as the intarsia in the checkered pattern of a rabbit bomber shown with a coordinated miniskirt.
The graphic approach had a playful touch in chubby faux fur coats worked in vibrant tones of turquoise and neon pink and quirky twists such as built-in sleeves that tie around the hips in a black and white knitted dress.
