Marie-Christine Statz chose a darker path for fall. A boyish, military bent permeated the collection, heightened by uniform-style caps. Her familiar splicing of geometric patchworks took in laser-cut leather, pale yellow plaid tartan and khaki tweed. A zig-zag design adding zing to padded coats and handsome heavy knitwear. The mash-up of textures and geometric patterns was appealing, and felt original without being eccentric, as in a midi-length kilt paired with a chunky sweater and scarf.
