Originally launched in 2013, Dutch designer Ilja Visser’s Ready to Fish brand made its New York Fashion Week debut with a collection of modern, easy separates. “It’s a woman’s way of wearing a men’s wardrobe,” Visser said backstage of her themeless collection of comfortable knits, trousers and sweater dresses. The standout look — because, though wearable and cool, many of the offerings failed to pop on the runway — was a mixed-media patent leather anorak with navy and pink accents.
