The fur was flying at Brandon Sun’s runway show as the designer turned out an abundance of textured skins. Inspired by the abstract works of Pierre Soulages juxtaposed against Douglas Abraham’s Instagram photos, Sun struck a fine balance between futurism and classicism. His bold lineup offered tailored yet body-conscious jackets, skirts, pants and dresses, with a strong focus on outerwear, in a graphic mix of materials, from exotic furs and soft leather to heavy guipure lace and techy PVC.
