Ali MacGraw as Radcliffe student was on Orla Kiely’s mind for this collection of girlish, early Seventies silhouettes with geometric details. Models at the presentation strolled through a library set with a mid-century modern décor wearing A-line miniskirts paired with chunky, color- block sweaters, or ones with cross-hatch patterns inspired by graph paper.
Among the standouts in this youthful, zingy collection was an emerald green cardigan with a subtle box pattern picked out in the knit, a chestnut belted wool trench, and a lineup of little dresses — some sparkly, others in jewel tones — worn with white frilly blouses and thick gray tights.
