Designer Judson Harmon wanted to create a true environment for his latest show, so with the help of audio/visual art duo Jason Akira Somma and Adriano Clemente, and some nifty motion-sensor rings worn by the models, both the soundtrack and the digital backdrop changed as they walked the runway.
It created a dark, almost spooky vibe that was in keeping with the moody men’s and women’s looks Harmon presented. His women’s wear — much of which was stuck in L.A., we were told — felt minimal, such as a leather dickey and straight-leg pants with thin sheer panel at the knees. Men’s silhouettes, meanwhile, veered slim and featured nubby knit sweaters paired with cropped pants, their edges left raw.
