Lila Moss is the star of GapStudio’s newest summer drop campaign.
Unveiled on Wednesday, the campaign features pieces from the forthcoming collection designed by Gap Inc. creative director Zac Posen, including summer essentials and a bevy of denim-clad designs with lightweight elements for the season.
Among the pieces Moss, the 22-year-old daughter of model Kate Moss, wears in the summer drop campaign, draped denim features most prominently. Described by the label as possessing such qualities as a “liquid-soft hand feel and breezy lightness that offers an easy, effortless flow-perfect” style for warmer weather, the assorted designs represent a fresh take on classic denim dressing.

The draped denim features a sun-faded finish and a lived-in quality, complemented by design details such as let-down hems for tonal contrast. The summer drop is made with movement in mind.
“It’s about the sensation of that first walk along the ocean in jeans,” Posen said of the summer drop via statement. “We wanted fabrics that are soft, light, breezy — capturing the feeling of summer, while honoring the heritage of Gap.”
The summer drop is anchored by three summertime fabrics — denim, chambray and voile. Highlights included mid-rise, draped denim baggy jeans, a draped denim romper, crepe dresses, contemporary off-the-shoulder tops, and a voile and draped denim shirtdress, also known as a “Gaptan.”
The collection will be available in seven Gap stores nationwide, on Gap’s official website and in international markets beginning Friday. Prices range from $54 to $148.
The summer drop is the latest collection since Posen officially joined Gap Inc. in February 2024.
Last April, Gap officially launched its first collection under GapStudio. Collection 01, featuring a campaign starring Alex Consani, Imaan Hammam and Anok Yai, showcased Posen’s signature approach to tailoring and draping with premium quality and accessibility.
In the first launch day of GapStudio Collection 01, nine items sold out, including the GapStudio high rise twill sailor pants, white poplin maxi shirtdress and corsets in all colors, among other items. Popular pieces from Collection 01 included the poplin maxi shirtdresses, corset belts, tailored trenches, seamed denim dress and high rise denim and twill sailor pants, per the brand.
