The 72nd Miss USA Pageant will be hosted by Keltie Knight and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton of E! News, The CW announced on Wednesday.
The competition will air live on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Radio personality Ellen K will be the announcer for the pageant.
This year’s event takes place at the MGM Resort in Reno, Nevada. The city secured a three-year deal to host the Miss USA Pageant from 2022 to 2024. Reno also hosted the 2019 pageant.
Miss USA fans can expect the return of Morgan Romano of North Carolina, the 2022 Miss USA, who will be taking to the stage to crown her successor. The winner of Miss USA will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2023 competition.

This year’s pageant comes on the heels of the organization announcing the Miss Universe Pageant has eliminated age limits across all Miss Universe and associated pageants. Although the changes don’t go into effect until 2024, Miss Universe is proving that it is entering a new era under its new president, fashion designer Laylah Rose. Rose is a member of the U.S. National Committee for U.N. Women, the United Nations organization dedicated to gender equality.
Contestants for the Miss USA Pageant are selected from state pageants which began in 2022 and concluded in August. The judges for this year’s pageant include fashion designer Nicole Miller, actress Vivica A. Fox, model Emina Cunmulaj Nazarian and beauty entrepreneur and influencer Patrick Starr.
Accompanying the pageant, Miss Teen USA will take place on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. EST. The show will be available to stream on The CW app.
