Kristen Bell represented the late designer Giorgio Armani at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night with a colorful, asymmetric gown.
Bell’s dress featured a kaleidoscope of cool tones across the sequined bodice with an arrangement of geometric shapes in hues like blue, green and purple. The bodice, with a diagonal neckline and a single spaghetti strap, transitioned into a long black skirt with an opulent sheen. She was joined by husband Dax Shepard, who wore a classic suit and tie.
The look was styled by Nicole Chavez, Bell’s longtime collaborator across red carpets and campaigns. Bell arrived as a nominee for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy for Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This,” marking her third Golden Globe nod in the category after “The Good Place” in 2019 and “Nobody Wants This” in 2025.

The Knix campaign star’s previous Golden Globes have also leaned heavily on texture. Last year, Bell embraced champagne shimmer in a beaded Ashi Studio couture gown with a rounded strapless neckline, corseted bodice and peplum detail. At the 2019 ceremony, she wore a pale pink Zuhair Murad gown with pleating, a halter neckline and a plunging front, finished with Harry Winston diamonds.
In the run-up to this year’s ceremony late last year, her “Nobody Wants This” Season Two press wardrobe has skewed sleek and skin-revealing, including a black-and-white sheer Armani Privé gown at the 2025 Emmys, a scarlet Alex Perry wrap dress, repeated appearances in Jude’s mesh Fame pumps and a gray Simkhai skirt-and-top set with over-the-knee boots for “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
