Model Winnie Harlow and NBA star Kyle Kuzma announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post they shared on Tuesday. The supermodel and basketball player reportedly became engaged on Feb. 13 ahead of the Valentine’s Day holiday.
In the Instagram post, Harlow and Kuzma shared a carousel of images featuring their romantic moment. Kuzma reportedly chartered a private jet for the couple to take to the Turks and Caicos Islands for the Valentine’s Day holiday. Harlow was dressed for the occasion in all-red attire, complete with hair accouterments.
Images from the carousel post also showed off Harlow’s glittering ring, a reported 8.5-carat, oval-cut diamond.

The couple eventually landed in Turks and Caicos with another surprise. Video footage at the post’s end showed the couple arriving at their lodgings with their family members already there and assembled to celebrate their engagement.
Harlow, a longtime model who’s a John Paul Mitchell ambassador and appeared in campaigns for Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Diesel, Swarovski and more, first connected with Kuzma back in early 2020 at the time of the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The two reportedly met online, with Harlow reportedly moving from New York City to Los Angeles to be with Kuzma, who was playing for the L.A. Lakers at the time. The couple made one of their first significant appearances together in 2022 at Fendi’s 25th anniversary of the Baguette in New York City.
The couple has since appeared together on several red carpets, keeping up public appearances at the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the 2023 amfAR Cannes Gala and more events and special high-profile occasions.
Kuzma currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, a team he was traded to at the start of the 2025 season. He also previously played for the Washington Wizards from 2021 until 2025.
