Cutouts were a major trend on the red carpet at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday in Beverly Hills. While sheer looks worn by Ciara, Kendall Jenner and more definitely made a statement, these cutout looks created subtle moments of tension and added some skin to runway styles.

Demi Moore

Moore glittered in her custom Gucci look at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday. The Oscar-nominated actress styled a sleeveless gold dress with a keyhole cutout on the bodice. Moore also wore Christian Loubuotin shoes and accessorized with Boucheron jewelry. Her look was curated by stylist Brad Goreski.

Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney blushed in a shimmering pink dress with a keyhole cutout on the bodice. The sleeveless Miu Miu dress is a custom design. Sweeney’s look was curated by stylist Molly Dickson, who also styled Keke Palmer.

Teyana Taylor

Taylor brought drama to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with her look. The multihyphenate wore a theatrical gown courtesy of LaQuan Smith’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured a sheer bodice with long sleeves and a full skirt with a bevy of bunched fabric. The look also featured cutouts, creating exposed hips on the dress.

Danielle Deadwyler

Danielle Deadwyler opted for a vibrant yellow gown courtesy of Gucci for her attire. The sleevless dress featured a cutout on the bodice and flowed with small gem embroidered detail throughout. Deadwyler’s look was curated by styling team Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald.

Madison Beer

Madison Beer opted for classic black and white with cutouts on the side of her Dolce & Gabbana dress. The singer’s look was curated by stylist Jordan Dorso.

Emma Chamberlain

Emma Chamberlain got playful with her ensemble’s cutout detailing. The social media star wore a look courtesy of Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 2025 couture collection by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, which featured a lace-up element on the skirt. Her look was styled by Jared Ellner.
