Sabrina Carpenter paid homage to a fashion veteran on the 2026 Grammy Awards red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday night, wearing a custom Valentino gown designed by Alessandro Michele and styled by Jared Ellner.
The 26-year-old award-winning pop star touched down in a full-length, embroidered gown, with a multi-tiered mesh skirt and a floral beaded bodice attached to a delicate shawl. The custom gown boasted bohemian undertones, with a ruffled train that pooled at her feet. Carpenter’s collaboration with the fashion house comes just a few weeks after the founding couturier, Valentino Garavani, whom John B. Fairchild once regarded as “The Chic,” died at age 93.

At the 67th annual Grammys, the “Manchild” artist, a then first-time nominee, took home the awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah for the sixth consecutive year, honor the best music and artists from 2025. Held at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night, the 2026 Grammys feature performances by Lady Gaga, Addison Rae and Sabrina Carpenter, among others.
