Rachel Brosnahan turned to the runway for inspiration while attending a fan event on Wednesday in London in anticipation of the forthcoming movie “Superman.” The actress stars in the film alongside David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult.
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” Emmy Award-winner styled a one-shoulder, sleeveless dress courtesy of Giorgio Armani Privé‘s spring 2025 couture collection. The shimmering gown featured an aubergine tone, with allover sparkling elements adorning the formfitting fabric. Brosnahan’s look also included statement cutouts on the bodice and at the waist of the dress. At the shoulder and near the cutout sections were glimmering jewel embellishments that accentuated the fabric.
The actress opted for a minimalist approach with her jewelry, allowing her dress to remain the focal point of her look. She wore stud earrings and a few rings to accessorize her ensemble. Brosnahan often collaborates with stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn, who previously dressed the actress for the “Superman” premiere in Rio de Janeiro, on June 23.

Brosnahan’s floor-length dress made its runway debut as part of Paris Couture Week in January. The eponymous designer drew inspiration from Japan, China, India and beyond to create the shimmering tapestry of his couture, marking its 20th anniversary.
“All these rich cultures were etched ever so gently in silhouettes and expressed more vividly via prints, embroideries and beading. Here was an collection defined largely by shimmering or sparkling surface decoration — more than usual chez Armani, from those glass-like fabrics he’s been fond of lately to fully beaded gowns with a tulle overlay bearing even more embellishments,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
Brosnahan stars as Lois Lane to David Corenswet’s Clark Kent/Superman in the forthcoming iteration on the “Superman” comic book stories. The film follows Superman, who must contend with his past and his secret identity while defending the world from dangerous foes. The film hits theaters July 11.
