Queen Camilla added a pop of springtime color to her wardrobe for a joint outing with King Charles III on Wednesday in London.
The U.K.’s queen consort traded in her subdued royal style for a playful use of color, wearing a fuchsia long-sleeve coat with a sinuous lapel. The coat featured some slight modern elements, with a cinched waist for silhouette definition and an asymmetric button to boot.
Queen Camilla added a colorful scarf with shades of green to her ensemble, contrasted by her black suede boots. As for accessories, the queen consort wore her traditional Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets and added a set of gold floral brooches to her coat.

Queen Camilla, who has a penchant for statement-making headpieces and hats, wore a black hat with a green feather attached. Worn at an asymmetrical angle, the hat was evocative of the styles Queen Camilla has worn in the past, often designed by Irish milliner Philip Treacy.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s visit to Turquoise Mountain’s exhibition at the Garrison Chapel in Chelsea Barracks on Wednesday marked the installation’s 20th anniversary. Turquoise Mountain, which was founded by the King in Afghanistan in 2006, has supported artisans and communities to protect and revitalize cultural heritage for 20 years.
