Princess Anne jetted off to Paris to join members of Great Britain’s Olympic team for a photo call on Wednesday. The royal joined her country’s Olympians at the British Embassy in the 2024 Olympic host city ahead of the Games, which begin on Friday.
For the occasion, Princess Anne paired down power suiting for a more subdued look. The British royal family member wore a navy suit, which included coordinated trousers and a double-breasted blazer. She paired the matching set with a white button-down shirt, which included a sharp statement collar.
Along with her suited attire, Princess Anne kept her footwear casual, opting for a pair of brown loafers for the photo call. The royal also wore Olympic pins, including a silver pendant brooch.

At the photo call, Princess Anne posed for photos alongside flag bearers Tom Daley, a springboard diver, and Helen Glover, a rower. Great Britain’s Olympians were decked out in their Adidas tracksuits, which featured red, zip-up hoodies and navy pants with Great Britain embossed on the hoodie and GBR on one pant-leg of the track suit.
Princess Anne’s appreciation and love for the Olympics stretches back decades.
The royal competed in the Olympics in 1976 when the Games were hosted in Montreal. Princess Anne rode Queen Elizabeth II’s horse, Goodwill, during the equestrian three-day event.
Following her competitive equestrian career, Princess Anne joined the British Olympic Association, serving as president of the group starting in 1983. The British royal has also been an International Olympic Committee Member since 1988.
The 2024 Olympics, hosted in Paris, begin Friday and conclude on Aug. 11. Ben Sherman, a British brand founded in 1963, will dress the Great Britain team for the opening and closing ceremonies. The 2024 Olympics marks the 20th anniversary of the first time the British brand collaborated with Great Britain’s Olympic team.
