Michelle Williams bucked winter hues in favor of warm tones for her appearance on “Good Morning America” on Monday in New York City. The singer stars in the Broadway musical adaptation of “Death Becomes Her.“
For her daytime appearance, Williams wore a vibrant power suit courtesy of Mac Duggal. The look featured a double-breasted blazer designed with an ombré effect with hues of yellow, orange and pink throughout. The blazer also included peaked lapels, long sleeves, side flap pockets and button-front closure.
Williams’ Mac Duggal blazer coordinated with the wide-leg trousers, which continued the ombré effect in shades of orange and yellow.

As for the rest of her look, Williams chose translucent, peep-toe heels. Williams opted for minimal jewelry, but accentuated her look with her glam. The singer and former Destiney’s Child member‘s raven black hair was styled with a side part with waves cascading past her shoulders.
The singer’s makeup included a natural look, with bold brows, a lightly lined eye and glossy, natural lip. During her time on “Good Morning America,” Williams chatted with coanchor Robin Roberts about being on Broadway and the prospect of a potential Tony Award nomination for her work in “Death Becomes Her.”
“I feel like I’ve already won being back on Broadway,” the singer said. “It’s been six years since I’ve been on Broadway.” Williams last Broadway role came in 2018 when the singer starred as Erzulie in the show “Once on This Island.” Williams made her Broadway debut in 2003, starring in the titular role in the show “Aida.”
“Death Becomes Her” is a musical based on the 1992 film of the same name. The story follows “frenemies” Madeline and Helen. After Madeline “steals” Helen’s fiancé, Helen plots her revenge. Everything changes, however, when Viola Van Horn (Williams) turns their world upside down.
