Kristen Stewart merged sleek suited styling with the underwear-as-outerwear trend in Calvin Klein Collection at the IndieWire Honors in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The Oscar-nominated actress, whose look was styled by Tara Swennen, wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection black wool blazer with a cotton-silk bodysuit, leggings and briefs. The leggings and brief portion of Stewart’s attire debuted on the spring 2026 ready-to-wear runway during New York Fashion Week in September.
The IndieWire Honors marked the first red carpet appearance for Veronica Leoni’s Calvin Klein Collection underwear. Black pointed toe heels accentuated Stewart’s take on suited styling. As for accessories, the actress and filmmaker styled pieces by Effy Jewelry and Fiametta.

For the final accessory to her look, Stewart wore a pair of brown, vintage-inspired sunglasses. Stewart’s glam followed suit with her effortless coolness, with choppy hair and minimal makeup. Playful with her style, Stewart’s penchant for teasing the underwear-as-outerwear trend goes back a few years, whether she’s opted to wear boxer shorts in public or styled the peekaboo bra layering trend.
For Calvin Klein’s spring 2026 rtw collection, creative director Veronica Leoni embraced a more holistic take on the American design label. “Bringing the underwear into our universe, for the first time, and really owning that business,” Leoni explained, per Emily Mercer’s WWD review of the collection.
“In this awareness of the brand belonging to the people, I feel that the fetish creates an aspirational and top layer to the perception and the lifestyle of the brand itself.”
Calvin Klein’s underwear campaigns have garnered the attention of several high-profile stars, with photo spreads featuring Jeremy Allen White, Bad Bunny and most recently Spanish singer and songwriter Rosalía.
The IndieWire Honors is an annual event that celebrates emerging talent and breakthrough artists. Stewart was honored on Thursday night with the Maverick Award, celebrating her acting career and directorial debut, “The Chronology of Water.”
