Keke Palmer brought archival glamour to the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The actress, entrepreneur and author hit the red carpet along with several of the evening’s nominees from film and TV.
For the special occasion, Palmer wore a Chanel dress from the archives, a piece that debuted as part of the French luxury fashion house’s 1985 collection. The gown featured a slim-fitting silhouette in black with an ornately designed gold neckline with botanical inspiration.
Palmer paired the strapless dress with long black gloves that extended beyond her elbows. The actress also wore the dress with pointed-toe black shoes. As for her accessories, the “One of Them Days” actress wore a pair of earrings courtesy of Brilliant Earth.

Palmer’s dress is a piece from Chanel’s archive that carries a lot of history and has been worn by another famous Hollywood titan. The same dress was worn by Jamie Lee Curtis to the American Cinematheque Awards in February 1986.
Along with her work in front of the camera, Palmer’s expanded her reach behind-the-scenes in producing roles. Palmer serves as an executive producer on her latest film “One of Them Days,” in which she co-stars with SZA. “It is an evolution of my joy and love for the entertainment industry,” she told WWD. “Now it doesn’t mean you can’t be a mom and also a talent, but as your desires grow in life, you need different places in different ways. I think producing allows me to still stay in it, but also be an observer a little bit more.”
