Tiger Woods and Kai Trump attended the Genesis Invitational golf tournament wearing the same brands on Sunday in La Jolla, California. Trump, whose grandfather is President Donald Trump, played during the weekend tournament, while Woods opted to not participate competitively after recently losing his mother.
“I planned to tee it up this week , but I’m just not ready,” Woods wrote in a statement. “I did my best to prepare, knowing it’s what my Mom would have wanted, but I’m still processing her loss.” Woods’ mother passed earlier this month.
For the tournament, Woods was wearing his own athleisure brand Sun Day Red. He wore a black insulated grid vest from the label. In addition, he chose the label’s core stripe polo in red. His trousers came from the activewear label as well. On his wrist, he sported a Rolex watch. Woods later posed alongside tournament winner Ludvig Åberg of Sweden.
