Julia Fox knows how to get people talking. The actress celebrated her recent MAC campaign at the brand’s SoHo store on Thursday during New York Fashion Week. Fox had starred in the “I Only Wear MAC” series, appearing on the subway completely naked in order to promote the cosmetics brand’s nude shades. She recreated the stunt at the event.
Fox arrived to the celebration wearing a classic tan trenchcoat. The piece had become infamous at one point in culture because it had been associated with flashers who exposed themselves easily with the silhouette. When she hit the event’s step and repeat, Fox opened the top of the trenchcoat to reveal her chest. She was wearing a molded leather corset from the brand Marina Hoermanseder underneath.
The corset was molded in the shape of a torso. It sported leather straps on the back to hold it in place. Designed by Friedrich Hülskamp, molded leather corsets were created in 2022 based off of busts for the Marina Hoermanseder label. Though the company often makes pieces saturated in color, three corsets were made of untreated leather, giving them their nude-ish hue.

Styled by Briana Andalore, the look was completed with a pair of nude collaborative pumps from Jimmy Choo and Jean Paul Gaultier. Though the shoes are nude, the styles include Jimmy Choo and Jean Paul Gaultier written across them in a newsprint font.
In addition to Fox, the “I Only Wear MAC” campaign is fronted by “outspoken cultural icons” like Martha Stewart, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Beabadoobee and Odell Beckham Jr.
“We wanted to ignite a conversation that extends far beyond beauty,” said MAC’s global creative director Drew Elliott. “We’re proving that MAC nudes are not just about blending in — they’re about standing out and sparking pop-cultural chaos.”
