Jennifer Lopez was just one of the star-studded guests who attended the Broadway opening night of “Good Night, and Good Luck” on Thursday in New York City. The actress and singer was joined by her child, Emme Muñiz.
For the special occasion, Lopez matched the theatrical energy of Broadway with her own dramatic attire. The “Hustlers” star styled a look courtesy of designer Saiid Kobeisy. The look featured a strapless black dress with a voluminous removable cape.
Lopez’s strapless dress featured a form-fitting silhouette with a plunging, sinuous neckline. The look also included a statement-making element with a voluminous, removable white cape. The cape featured a long train and fabric that was so full in its design, it could have ensconced the actress.

The cape also featured bubble-hemmed appliqués at the shoulders for extra drama. Once removed, Lopez’s glittering statement necklace and earrings were seen. She further accessorized with a black clutch. Lopez’s look was curated by styling team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.
Lopez was joined by her child Emme Muñiz for the New York City night out. The 17-year-old suited up for the opening night of “Good Night, and Good Luck,” wearing a tailored look complete with a white button-down dress shirt, tie and chunky loafers. Muñiz further accessorized with layered necklaces.
Lopez and her child previously attended Broadway’s opening night of “Othello,” starring Oscar-winner Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, on March 23. The “Jenny From the Block” singer wore a shimmering look courtesy of Zuhair Murad, while Emme opted for another suited style — this time with pinstripe detailing.
“Good Night, and Good Luck,” starring George Clooney, is the stage adaptation of the Oscar-nominated 2005 film that was directed and co-written by Clooney. The story follows broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow in an effort to bring down Senator Joseph McCarthy.
