Jennifer Lawrence continued her “Die My Love” promotional tour with a contemporary spin on the little black dress in a design by Jacquemus for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night in New York City.
The Oscar-winning “Silver Linings Playbook” star, who often collaborates with stylist Jamie Mizrahi, wore a one-shoulder midi dress from the French luxury fashion brand, featuring an asymmetric neckline and hemline to create dimension with soft angles.
The dress included some fabric draping at the neckline, with subtle ruching around the form-fitting skirt. The silhouette of the dress was mostly fitted, but with the draping element and asymmetric design, the frock featured some fluidity of movement.

Along with her black strappy Aquazzura heels, Lawrence paired her dress with simple jewelry pieces from Jessica McCormack and the Yi Collection to complete her late-night attire. When it came to her glam, Lawrence continued some subtle nods to a dark glamour motif with a smoky eye and bold brows, along with a muted glossy lip. Her blond hair was styled straight, worn down and featured a middle part.
Lawrence’s Jacquemus dress is a fascinating shift from her recent designer attire. Throughout her “Die My Love” press tour, Lawrence has been a canvas for a few of Jonathan Anderson’s designs for Dior — Anderson was appointed the eighth couturier of the French luxury fashion house, for which Lawrence serves as an ambassador, in June.
Recent Dior looks by Anderson that Lawrence has worn include a selection from the luxury label’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, worn at the Rome Film Festival premiere of her movie, and a sculpted off-the-shoulder black gown with sculptural design inspiration and fabric draping, which Lawrence wore to the New York City premiere of “Die My Love.”
Directed by Lynne Ramsay, “Die My Love” follows couple and new parents Grace and Jackson, played by Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, as they move from the city to rural Montana after welcoming their first child. The film chronicles the breakdown of the couple’s marriage and Grace’s struggles with postpartum depression and psychosis. “Die My Love” hits theaters Friday.
