As it gears up for expansion, Jacquemus has appointed Laetitia Manfredi chief product and merchandising officer, effective Monday.
“Her strong product sensibility and expertise in assortment and offer strategy will support Jacquemus’ ambitions for growth and elevation, while preserving the brand’s powerful DNA and ensuring overall consistency,” the Paris-based fashion house said in a statement shared exclusively with WWD.
In this newly created role, Manfredi reports to Sarah Benady, chief executive officer, and work closely with founding designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, whose namesake brand is rooted in the solar, light-hearted spirit of the South of France.

Her responsibilities include “developing product growth strategies to support the maison in its new phase of expansion, while reinforcing Jacquemus’ distinctive silhouette and creative vision, and leading the studio and merchandising into this new chapter,” according to the house.
Manfredi joins Jacquemus from Christian Dior Couture, where she has been director of the women’s accessories business unit since October 2022. She straddled the tenures of two creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and, more recently, Jonathan Anderson.
A graduate of Kedge Business School, Manfredi began her career at L’Oréal and Cartier before joining Louis Vuitton in 2011, first working in image and visual merchandising and later transitioning to product, with a focus on accessories.
From 2018 to 2021, she contributed to the launch of Fenty, Rihanna’s fashion brand, and later joined Saint Laurent, where she worked across ready-to-wear and accessories.
Jacquemus is readying a push into Asia, while continuing its retail expansion with a Miami boutique in the pipeline before the end of the year. A beauty launch with licensee and minority investor L’Oréal is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
It is also putting additional muscle behind leather goods as elevated new styles like Le Valérie gain traction. According to the house, more than 50 percent of purchasers of the style are new to the brand.
As reported, Jacquemus recently brought in a chief operating officer with extensive experience in Asia; a new head of the accessories business unit who previously worked with The Row and Bottega Veneta; a new chief digital officer with experience across fashion and beauty, and seasoned tailors and dressmakers recruited from the couture departments of Schiaparelli and Dior.
