Jane Fonda attended the High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People: From Ambition to Action event in New York City on Tuesday. The actress and activist embraced a classic style, opting for a minimalist power-dressing ensemble, including a simple black top and a tailored black suit. She accessorized the ensemble with a gold necklace, two rings and a bracelet.
While the culture of wearing minimalist clothing is a trend arguably centuries old, this year “quiet luxury,” as it has been defined, has spiked interest. “Quiet luxury” refers to understated clothing made with very high-quality materials.
The Nature & People: From Ambition to Action comes on the coattails of the 78th session of the U.N. General Assembly. The event is brought about through a collaborative effort between the High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People, the Global Ocean Alliance and the Leaders’ Pledge for Nature. The event demonstrates transformational actions to tackle biodiversity loss.
