On Sunday, Adrien Brody picked up a BAFTA trophy for Best Actor due to his leading role in “The Brutalist.” The performer turned up on the red carpet with his girlfriend, designer Geogina Chapman, who he has previously referred to as his partner. Last month, when he was accepting a Golden Globe for the same role, he heaped praise on Chapman, who he called his “amazing partner” and whose “resilience” and “creativity” has inspired him.
“I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you,” he said at the time. “There was a time not too long ago that I felt this may never be a moment afforded to me again, so thank you.”
At the BAFTA awards, Brody wore a custom black satin tuxedo from J. Crew. The tuxedo featured peak lapels and a matching bowtie. The suit was designed by Brendon Babenzien, the men’s creative director of the company who previously did time at Supreme before launching his own brand Noah. The look was styled by Jason Rembert.

Chapman wore a dress of her own design. She attended the event in a strapless black velvet gown that featured a tulle skirt. From Marchesa‘s fall 2025 collection, the bodice includes a sculpted top with a nipped waist and peplum detail at the hip.
The pair made their red carpet debut together in 2021. At the time, Brody was promoting his film “Clean.” Since then they’ve been continually walking the carpet together, including earlier this year at the Golden Globes. There, Chapman wore a pre-fall 2025 gown of her own creation. It was strapless and also incorporated nude-illusion tulle. That silhouette was a fit-and-flare number adorned with silk organza petals, vine embroidery and a draped horsehair bodice. Brody wore a made-to-measure three-piece Thom Browne tuxedo featuring a large broach. That suit was trimmed in grosgrain.
