The 42nd Torino Film Festival is currently in full swing, and with it comes a bevy of celebrities on the red carpet. This year’s installment in Turin, Italy kicked off on Friday, bringing out Sarah Jessica Parker, Sharon Stone, Rosario Dawson, and more.
Sarah Jessica Parker, arrived at the red carpet with husband Matthew Broderick — who was being honored at the festival with an honorary Stella della Mole prize — opted for a skirt suit. Parker wore a high-slit velvet maxi skirt with a blazer and a Georgette button-up shirt. The “And Just Like That” actress accessorized her look with a long strand of pearls and a rhinestone-covered bag with matching sandals that were topped with a bow. Parker attended day two as well, while wearing a grey double-breasted skirt suit.
Stone was also in attendance to receive an honorary Stella della Mole prize, for her robust career of films that include “Basic Instinct,” “Casino,” and “Total Recall.” For the occasion, Stone wore a red mosaic strapless gown that had a stained glass effect, and paired it with a floor-length ruffled wrap.
Red continued to trend, after reigning on the red carpet at Deadline’s 2024 Contenders: Film last weekend. Rosario Dawson, who was also in attendance to receive an honorary Stella della Mole prize, opted to wear fall’s breakout color, pairing a sequin-striped red blouse with a velvet suit and a pair of pointed-toe heels. Dawson also wore a strapless navy gown that was embellished with sequins giving an ombré effect, and styled it with dangling ornate earrings.
The Torino Film Festival runs from Nov. 22 to Nov. 30, and the 2024 installment features films such as Ron Howard’s “Eden,” which costars Jude Law and Ana de Armas, and the international premiere of Angelina Jolie’s “Without Blood.” This year’s Stella della Mole prize honorees also include Howard, Giancarlo Giannini, Emmanuelle Béart, Alec Baldwin, Michele Placido, Ornella Muti, Julia Ormond, and Vince Vaughn.
