The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards is now in its 29th annual year. The award show honors outstanding performances in both television and film with categories ranging from Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture to Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Throughout the award show’s history, it has christened numerous stars with honors. Tom Hanks became the first winner of the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for his role in “Forrest Gump.”
In addition to bestowing talented stars with accolades, the SAG Awards are also one of the biggest red carpet moments of the year.
