The annual Breakthrough Prizes are a set of international awards given in three categories in recognition of scientific advances. This year’s event, held in Los Angeles, featured a star-studded list of celebrity attendees, including Brie Larson, Mila Kunis, Christina Aguilera, Lily Collins and Gal Gadot. The event, held at the Academy Museum of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is known as “the Oscars of Science.” James Corden hosted the 2023 ceremony and performers included John Legend and will.i.am.
