Sisters Elizabeth and Ashley Olsen turned the YES Scholars 25th Anniversary Gala into a family affair on Thursday, channeling Gothic glamour in Rodarte and contemporary minimalism in The Row.
Elizabeth Olsen opted for a dress courtesy of Rodarte’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection. The silk midi dress featured a marriage of lace and botanical motifs, with a see-through lace design at the waist and near the neckline.
The short, flowing sleeves of the frock featured a tiered effect. Not only was the “WandaVision” actress’ dress evocative of Gothic styling, the look also harkened back to the popular dark glamour trend, defined by nods to Victoria Era trends like lace and romantic silhouettes.
