The first teaser of “Dune: Part Two” was unveiled on Tuesday, giving fans a first look at actress Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan in the story.
Pugh plays the daughter of the supreme ruler of the galaxy, Emperor Shaddam IV, in the series. A shot of Pugh circulating the internet features the actress in a fishnet-style head ornament wearing a white jacquard top.
Pugh isn’t the only new star in the sequel to Dune. Oscar-nominated actor Austin Butler is also joining the cast as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the nephew of Baron Harkonnen, who is played by Stellan Skarsgard.

While the preview shot of Butler in the film features plenty of shadows and mostly his silhouette, he appears to wear a warrior-style kilt and has a bald head. In the teaser, Butler is wearing chalky makeup with no eyebrows.
Zendaya will be reprising her role in “Dune” as Chani. A first look at the film features the actress with her hand on costar Timothée Chalamet’s face with the desert in the background.
Léa Seydoux is also joining the cast of the film as Lady Margot, an ally to Chalamet’s character Paul, the protagonist of the series.
“Dune” was nominated at the 2022 Academy Awards for Best Costume Design. The award ultimately went to “Cruella.” The majority of the costumes in the first “Dune” film were created by Demobaza. The brand focuses on deconstructed creations, fitting for the dystopian, futuristic world that “Dune” is set in. Pieces are created with materials like elastic denim and designed with unique dusty light effects.
Warner Bros. Pictures also revealed the first poster for the sequel and announced that an official trailer will be released Wednesday.
“Dune Part: Two” will premiere on Nov. 23. In addition to Zendaya, Chalamet, Pugh, Butler and Seydoux, the film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Christopher Walken and Javier Bardem.
