Cynthia Erivo‘s latest “Wicked: For Good” method-dressing moment featured Schiaparelli‘s futuristic take on skirt suiting for the actress’ appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night in New York City.
The Oscar-nominated actress’ look, curated by stylist Jason Bolden, featured Erivo in a black skirt suit coordinated set, featuring a double-breasted jacket with sharp lapels and rounded shoulders and a pencil skirt with a knee-length hemline.
On the shoulders of Erivo’s jacket were statement embellishments in spherical shapes, which coordinated to the hat Erivo wore for her late-night talk show appearance. Crafted in a glossy material, the statement pieces not only provided material juxtaposition but also highlighted Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry‘s penchant for sartorial experimentalism.
