The worlds of British royalty and French politics collided on Wednesday when Queen Camilla of England and France’s first lady Brigitte Macron greeted each other on King Charles III’s first state visit to France. The meeting took place at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
Macron wore a navy skirt suit, with a jacket featuring nautical-inspired buttons in the shape of anchors. The skirt of the suit hit right at her knee. She paired the ensemble with classic navy pointy-toe pumps.
