Anya Taylor-Joy turned the sidewalks of New York City into her own personal runway on Tuesday. The Emmy-nominated actress was out promoting her forthcoming film “The Gorge,” for which she styled looks courtesy of McQueen and Celine by Hedi Slimane.
The McQueen look featured a coat with an exaggerated padded collar in natural shearling and a miniskirt in honey suede. The pieces were from the McQueen fall 2024 collection and spring 2025 pre-collection, respectively.
With a busy schedule of appearances, Taylor-Joy styled two more looks from Celine by Hedi Slimane. The first featured the Brompton jacket in wool cloth with a coordinated skirt. The look featured a gray wool base fabric with juxtaposing crisp white detailing on the collar, front placket, hemline and pockets. She completed the coordinated ensemble with a pair of white knee-high boots, evoking a wholly ’60s, retro style.

Taylor-Joy coordinated the look with black knee-high boots.
While attending the Dior show last month, Taylor-Joy spoke with WWD about her forthcoming film. “I’m an elite sniper, a Lithuanian elite sniper,” she said of her role in the thriller, adding that she trained “vigorously, very intensely” for the part.
Taylor-Joy costars with Miles Teller, and said the two “were taught by different people. He was trained in a very American sniping course, and I was trained by a Lithuanian. It was fascinating. I got an understanding of a world that I had no idea about,” she said.
