DJ and style-setter Mia Moretti on Wednesday will join luxury resale e-commerce site The Real Real as fashion and arts ambassador. Moretti, who has dropped sets at Coachella and SXSW, and performed with vocalist Margot as The Dolls, opening for Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder, will bring her singular aesthetic sensibility to The Real Real, curating editorial content, styling look books and special sales and spearheading new philanthropic and artistic initiatives.
To kick off The Real Real partnership, Moretti pulled together a sale starting Wednesday at 10 a.m., “La Boheme Nouveau,” inspired by vintage opera posters and the European Bohemian scene at the turn of the 20th century. Featured in the sale are a Chanel double-C tweed brooch for $1,400; tan mink-paneled Prada sweater, $375; muted multicolor Valentino beaded eyelet dress, $3,075; Hermès Togo leather Birkin handbag, $10,500, and brown velvet and pink leather 3.1 Phillip Lim sneakers, $125.
