THEVENET-MONDINO NOMINATED: French Elle has tapped Friquette Thévenet-Mondino to oversee fashion, effective since Nov. 3, WWD has learned. The role was formerly held by Sophie Fontanel, who is becoming editorial writer.
Thévenet-Mondino, a stylist and wife of photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino, has collaborated with publications such as Madame Figaro and Vanity Fair France and has spent a large part of her career at Elle France.
The nomination at the weekly magazine comes a few after Françoise-Marie Santucci was named editor in chief.
