Teyana Taylor took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “One Battle After Another,” and Jordan Brand was ready for the occasion with a congratulatory Instagram post with the tagline, “Flowers Earned.” And for those who have kept up on the rumor mill, it’s a fitting tie-in to her next sneaker collaboration.

The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 “Concrete Rose” is expected to release in March as her second Air Jordan collaboration. No images of the sneaker have been revealed, but leakers suggest it will come with removable plastic rose thorns wrapping around the shoe. Color codes also suggest it will come in black with pops of red and green to maintain the rose theme.

Taylor is a native of the Manhattan neighborhood, and she released the song “Rose in Harlem” in 2018. The flower is often used as a symbol of beauty and resilience growing out of a difficult area, tracing back to the opening lines of the Ben E. King song “Spanish Harlem” recorded in 1960 and covered by Aretha Franklin 11 years later.
