Angel Reese’s hotly anticipated Reebok signature sneaker will debut at retail next week. And ahead of the launch, the Boston-based sportswear brand is sharing a look at what’s to come next for the Chicago Sky star.
Reebok revealed today the Angel Reese 1 in a “Giving Grace” colorway. Described as a slate gray look, the pair blends two neutral shades across its mesh-and-molded TPU upper and Energy Return System-cushioned midsole. The two-tone color blocking is reminiscent of the pink “Mebounds” colorway, which is one of three Angel Reese 1 colorways that will be released on Sept. 18.
As for the “Giving Grace” look, Reese says in a press release that it’s more than a sneaker nickname. “[Giving grace is] a reflection of who I am and the journey l’ve walked. This colorway represents the strength to keep moving when the road is uncertain, the courage to rise after setbacks, and the kindness to extend grace to others as well as yourself. These shoes tell my story, and I hope they inspire others to walk in grace, strength and resilience,” she said.

While fans will have to wait a few weeks for the “Giving Grace” style, the arrival of the Reebok Angel Reese 1 is just around the corner. The model will debut on Sept. 18 in its “Diamond Dust,” “Mebounds” and “Receipts Ready” colorways, each retailing for $150 from reebok.com and select stockists. Following the three debut pairs, the sneaker will be released in “Charm City” and “Tiago” iterations.
Reese has frequently been in the headlines as of late. She was suspended twice in the last week — one full-game suspension for receiving her eighth technical foul of the season and a half-game hiatus for podcast comments deemed “detrimental to the team.” Reese, who’s in her second year with the Sky, has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with the franchise.
The Reebok Angel Reese 1 Giving Grace will be released in November for a retail price of $120.
