Nike is gearing up for the World Cup with versions of one of its most essential sneakers for the United States Men’s National Team and its chief rival.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Team USA” and “Mexico Tiempo FC” provide two options for national team allegiance. While the former carries the official badge for the squad, the latter has to goes without such ties because Mexico is an Adidas-sponsored squad but compensates with more flourishes.
A classic “Triple White” treatment forms the base for the U.S. edition, which is then broken up by a metallic blue Swoosh. The aforementioned badge then appears on the mustache, while Nike Air branding appears in blue on the tongue and red on the insole.

A shimmering silk-like material is used for the Mexican Air Force 1 in a grayish-white and carries flame embroidery around the Swoosh and on the the vamp. Green is then used for the Swoosh, lining, tongue tag and mustache — the latter of which hosts pink text reading “El Tiempo F.C.” A more yellow-white midsole matches the laces and sits above a maroon outsole, while the insole reads “Amor Que No Se Apaga,” which translates to “Love That Never Fades.”
Since 2021, the U.S. holds the edge over Mexico with five wins, two losses and another two draws. Mexico won their last contest, however, in the final of the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup. The two countries will be hosting the 2026 jointly along with Canada and could wind up facing each other in the round of 32 knockout stage provided the right results in their respective groups.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Team USA” will release March 23 through Nike’s website, and the “Mexico Tiempo FC” edition doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date but will likely drop around the same time. Pricing for both is set at $125.
