Some may argue that there’s no need to improve the Nike Air Force 1 Low in its staple “Triple White” colorway, but that hasn’t stopped the Swoosh from trying.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Triple White” is getting an upgrade with higher-quality leather. The leather paneling is thicker than usual. A sense of quiet luxury could also be argued for its reduction in branding, as the mustache and metal lace dubrae now appear as blank slates. The tonal Nike Air tongue tag, however, remains unchanged.

Those more steeped in the subtle changes in shape for the Air Force 1 Low throughout the years will also appreciate that this iteration is closer to the sneaker’s build from the ’90s and ’00s rather than the ’07 silhouette that’s now the standard.

Despite the sanctity of the “Triple White” colorway, it was never applied to the Air Force 1 Low until some time in the mid-’90s, well after the sneaker was introduced in 1982. Many refer to the colorway as “Uptowns” because of its popularity in Harlem.
Earlier this year, Nike played into the lore of keeping Air Force 1s pristine by dropping “Dirty Triple White” and “Dirty Triple Black” editions through its Swoosh division. Both sneakers initially featured distressed designs to suggest prior wear, but these marks would actually wear off, making the sneaker appear cleaner with wear than it did out of the box.
A firm release date hasn’t been locked down for the premium Nike Air Force 1 Low “Triple White,” but it’s expected to release soon through Nike’s website. Pricing also has yet to be confirmed, but you can anticipate a higher price than the standard $115.
