As the U.S. begins the shift to warmer weather, there are countless sneakers well-suited for spring and summer. And while the rugged black Air Force 1 may not be at the top of many shopping lists, Nike is doing its part to give the shoe some added hints of color for the season.
After decking out the white Air Force 1 with cherry blossom, rose and blue bell floral details, it’s the black Air Force 1’s turn to get in on the summery look. Unlike the aforementioned white-based pairs, it seems that the black iteration won’t be receiving the cherry blossom and blue bell-adorned makeovers, but there’s also a possibility the pairs have yet to surface online.

The recipe for these special-edition floral colorways isn’t a complex one, as Nike has allowed the base Air Force 1 to do much of the heavy lifting here. The so-called “Black Rose” iteration features a full colorway of Black/Black/Sport Red/Pine Green and features the model’s typical leather construction.
