When it comes to prompting industry-wide lookalikes and riffs, few athletic sneaker collaborations in recent years have been as influential as Miu Miu’s work with New Balance.
The look — razor-thin soles, suede-and-mesh constructions and contrasting double shoelaces — has been mimicked by labels far and wide. Even New Balance itself has offered a spin on the trend with its more affordable 204L model. And while many of the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL styles have long since sold out and are reselling on the aftermarket for inflated premiums, a new trio of exclusive colorways has just hit Miu Miu’s e-commerce store — but don’t expect them to be any easier to get.

The Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL is available now in three new online exclusive styles: Hazelnut, Sage Green and Butter Yellow. Each pair features matching material compositions with wide mesh bases and suede overlays which matches the collaboration’s September release in Periwinkle.
Aside from the matching materials, each of the three new styles include a mix of clashing shoelaces combining traditional flat white cotton laces, brown leather laces and a two-tone hiking-esque look. Co-branding appears on the insole and tongue of each pair and all three colorways feature matching gum rubber outsoles.
Despite their recent arrival, many sizes in the latest Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL have already begun to sell out, particularly in the Butter Yellow variation. As of publishing, the Hazelnut and Sage Green iterations still have many sizes available, and it’s also possible that the pairs could soon be restocked. In the meantime, readers will want to keep an eye on secondary resale markets like GOAT, The RealReal and StockX.
