Just over a year ago, Kirkland went viral after introducing $30 sneakers with the sort of plain black and white appearance as you’d expect from Costco’s private label. That attention appears set to be magnified, as Kirkland is collaborating with Nike SB on a Dunk Low leaning into the affordable sensibilities of the brand that makes everything from T-shirts to bottled water.
The Kirkland x Nike SB Dunk Low has gotten its initial leak and takes on the appearance of a Kirkland sweatshirt. Heather gray cotton is used for the entirety of the upper’s exterior, while it’s lining carries the same fuzziness of a sweatshirt’s interior. On the lateral heel, you’ll find the Kirkland Signature logo, but the best detail of all is saved for the inner tongue: a label that replicates those used in-store at Costco, reading “Kirkland Signature Skateboarding Shoe.” True to form, it lists sizes available from 4 to 12, as well as 13, 14 and 15 and a price tag of $135.
