One of the biggest surprise success stories for Jordan Brand in 2025 has been its Trunner O/S dad shoe. On paper, the new addition to the brand’s revitalized Trunner franchise wasn’t an obvious hit. The model’s chunky, stacked cushioning defies the pervasive low-profile sneaker trend and yet, the Trunner O/S has had no trouble drumming up hype. From pink-tinged pairs to an upcoming “Black Cat” look, the latest Trunner has had plenty to choose from, and there’s even more in the pipeline.
The latest look headed to the Jordan Trunner O/S model is a Black/Natural Gray/Psychic Blue/University Blue colorway whose defining shade is its North Carolina Tar Heels-adjacent light blue. With the colors of Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the shoe mixes in black mesh and a black molded TPU support wing with a light gray suede mudguard. Two different shades of blue are utilized with a pale Psychic Blue on the Cushlon 3.0-cushioned midsole and a UNC-appropriate University Blue on the shoe’s mesh base.
