Michael Jordan’s New Dad Shoe Appears in a Previously Unseen Pink Color

The Jordan Trunner O/S is expected to arrive at retail this fall.

Jordan Brand’s embrace of the enduring dad shoe trend continues to get colorful.

After appearing in a Archaeo Brown/Persian Violet style earlier this month, yet another unreleased style of the Jordan Trunner O/S has surfaced. This time, it comes courtesy of Vashti Usry, product line manager of Jordan women’s streetwear and footwear at Nike, Inc.

Usry took to her Instagram stories to share on-foot looks at a previously unseen Jordan Trunner O/S in a predominantly pink look. The unreleased style uses a vibrant pink on its mesh base with a softer pink midsole paired with an off-white suede mudguard, gray tongue and shoelaces and black components including its TPU support cage.

Based on the new pink pair and the Archaeo Brown look seen in early July, it’s evident that Jordan Brand has big (and colorful) plans for the chunky sneaker. Ahead of its official launch, three styles have been seen early: the aforementioned Archaeo Brown and pink colorways along with a third in a tonal dark gray Cave Stone makeup.

While the Trunner O/S is a brand new model, it borrows from the lineage of Jordan Brand’s cult favorite Trunner line. As its name suggests, the franchise sought to combine training and running footwear for a multi-purpose option. The most well-known model, the Trunner LX, featured a slip-on construction with a Velcro closure and was the sneaker used for Travis Scott’s first Jordan Brand collaboration. In addition to the introduction of the Trunner O/S, the original Trunner LX will also receive a reissue this year.

While the recent trend cycle may have shifted to lower profile, slim-soled sneakers, the bulkier, stacked look of so-called dad shoes hasn’t been completely abandoned. Specifically, New Balance’s 9060 remains a top seller on secondary markets, and Nike’s own Zoom Vomero 5 isn’t too far detached from the aesthetic.

A release date for this pink Jordan Trunner O/S has not been confirmed, but readers can expect the model to launch during fall 2025. A retail price of $115 is currently expected.
