Inside the Adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Celebration [PHOTOS]

Adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria celebrated their spring/summer 2025 collection at the Adidas Melrose store in Los Angeles on Thursday with an event honoring Chicano culture and the legacy of community, style and self-expression in Los Angeles. Edison Chen, Xochitl Gomez and Skyy Clark were among the attendees.

The event brought guests into the world of the spring/summer 2025 campaign, which examines themes of love, legacy, family and friendship, with inspiration coming from the values of kindness, dignity and human connection. Through Chavarria’s signature lens, the collection blends streetwear and sport. The shoe options include the Chavarria Jabbar Lo and Jabbar Dress, reimagining the archival Adidas Jabbar sneaker which was made for Kareem Abdul Jabbar. The shoes were on display at the event, which was lush with red roses, a motif that shows up in the collection.

Chavarria said, “Adidas’ place in Chicano culture is a bit of an untold story. I love sharing this iconic brand in a way that reflects how I wore it growing up and how we wear it now. Working with my close friends and extended family on this project in LA was a powerful and personal experience. It allowed me to capture the beauty of our Brown brothers and sisters against the backdrop that is home to so many of us.”
